Sarcopenia: Causes of Muscle Loss and Solutions
Muscle loss is often treated as an unavoidable part of getting older.
Some decline in muscle mass does happen with aging, but significant muscle loss is not something you simply have to accept. What causes sarcopenia?

Strength training comes first
Walking is excellent for cardiovascular health, but muscles also need resistance.

Can older adults still gain strength?
